September always feels like the unofficial start of holiday travel season for me!

While we're still chasing the last bits of summer weather in our RV, behind the scenes my travel calendar has shifted into one of the busiest planning seasons of the year. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, spring break, and even summer 2027 are filling faster than most people realize.

If you've been saying, "We should take a trip next year," this is your friendly reminder that the best vacations usually start with a conversation long before you pack your bags.

🚐 Life on the Road

We’ve officially completed our first full month as a full-time traveling family, and we’re settling into the rhythm of life on the road. Every week brings something new from new places and unexpected adventures to the everyday moments that make this lifestyle so special.

Over the past month, we’ve explored the Indiana Dunes, reconnected with friends we hadn’t seen in years, navigated Midwest storms, tackled camper renovation projects, and continued homeschooling from wherever we happen to wake up.

One of my favorite parts of this lifestyle has been learning to slow down and truly experience places instead of simply checking them off a list. Full-time travel has been a reminder that meaningful adventures aren’t measured by how many destinations you visit, but by the memories you create along the way.

💻 What’s Keeping Me Busy This Month:

Planning season is officially here! Here's what clients are booking right now:

• 2026 Holiday travel: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's trips are filling quickly, especially all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and popular beach destinations.
• Spring Break 2027: Families are already locking in resorts and cruises to get the best availability and pricing.
• Destination weddings & group trips: I'm helping couples and families coordinate everything from Caribbean celebrations to European adventures.
• Bucket-list vacations: Italy, Greece, Alaska, African safaris, and river cruises continue to be some of the most requested trips for 2027.

The earlier we start planning, the more options you'll have, and the less stressful the process becomes.

While airfare has been unpredictable (and honestly, a little wild) lately, this time of year is typically when we see flight prices start to settle after the busy summer travel season.

If you’re dreaming about a 2027 getaway, now is a great time to start watching flights and building your plan. Historically, late summer and early fall can be a sweet spot for finding better airfare before holiday demand ramps up and prices climb again.

My biggest advice? Don’t wait until you see the “perfect” price to start planning. The best strategy is knowing what a good fare looks like, having your trip details mapped out, and being ready to book when the right opportunity appears.

And remember that airfare is just one piece of the puzzle. The best resorts, cruises, tours, and accommodations often have much less flexibility than flights, so planning ahead still gives you the most options.

This month's adventures are taking our clients all around the world!

From a multi-generational family adventure through Thailand exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Krabi, to a couples getaway combining the romance of Paris with the beauty of Venice, Florence, and Rome. We’re also sending travelers north for girls getaways and solo retreats through Canada’s incredible cities like Halifax, Quebec City, and Montreal, while another family is exploring Greece with stops in Athens, Santorini, and Milos. Other adventures include a journey through Scotland and England visiting Edinburgh, Oban, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Portmeirion, plus a family’s very first magical Disney trip.

I love seeing such a variety of travel dreams come to life from bucket-list international adventures to meaningful moments closer to home. 🌍
